Task 7 Post Production

I didn't have to do a massive amount in terms of post production, as I had already done most of my own improvised effects within Layout. However I did start off by importing my rendered Photo Shop screen shots of my animation.

My tutor advised me to render my whole animation out as screenshots as the rendering process had a bad habit of failing part way through unexpectedly and as a result, you would lose the entire rendered clip, however, as screen shots, once they're rendered, you have the shot, therefore if the rendering did fail, you wouldn't lose anything.

I initially imported everything I thought I might need, including all of the sound beds available to me. I played these along side my video in order to see which worked best.

I ultimately ended up cutting some parts out of the animation. Despite the number of frames per second being correct within layout, the rendered video was a few seconds over what it should have been. This worked out pretty well though. I ended up cutting and using the "Dip to Black" effect to fade into the next clip, I did this to the beats of the audio, which worked pretty well.

My tutor also advised me to use the actual Logo at the end of the video, just in case it wasn't clear what my track was depicting. Personally I felt there would be little to no confusion upon the camera zooming out, but I saw no harm in doing it anyway.
